Need organizational tools? Starting (and running) a business is a little bit like trying to herd cats. If you aren’t organized, things will slip through the cracks.

Boy, I can’t tell you how much I love this Evernote app. It comes in a free personal level or paid business levels.
I first started using the free app when I took over my parents’ finances. It saved me when I needed information in the middle of the day when I didn’t have their files handy.
The free version of Evernote allows you 60 MB of uploads each month. The app lets you save pictures, clip web pages, find text in images and more.
I’ve since moved up to one of the paid plans, and to me it is worth every penny.
Evernote Plus allows 1GB of memory monthly. It allows you to:
- Sync across devices
- Forward emails to the app to be kept alongside notes
- Have your information available offline on your mobile device
Evernote Premium allows 10BG of memory monthly. It has all the features of Evernote Plus and
- Search in Office docs and pdfs
- Browse note history
- Annotate attached pdfs
- Scan and digitize business cards
- Priority customer support
If you are building your business on the internet, you need an autoresponder.
An autoresponder is a service that automatically sends emails to all or a subset of the people on your list.
Aweber is an awesome tool to organize your list (remember from our training “the money is in the list”) of customers or leads and to organize your emails or “touches” with them.
It allows you to set up multiple “campaigns” so that if someone clicks through on your lead magnet, you can automatically respond with your giveaway or a “welcome” email. You can set a time period after which another automated email goes out, etc., etc.
Easily collect, track and manage your subscriber list.
